Join us and help make a difference in 2025
Every year, with your help, we rescue and provide safe refuge for hundreds of cats and kittens, setting them on their way to join their loving forever homes, and bringing joy not only to our furry friends but also to the families who adopt them.
With thanks to all of our volunteers, vets and supporters, our cats and kittens receive the warmth, care and rehabilitation that they deserve and so desperately need.
With thanks to all of our volunteers, vets and supporters, our cats and kittens receive the warmth, care and rehabilitation that they deserve and so desperately need.
This year more than ever, we need your help. Only through your support can we help those cats and kittens who rely on us to save them. With rising costs of food and vet care, and the more desperate situations where we are needed to help, your support helps make a difference.
How you can help
- Become a foster. If you have a little space in your home where you can provide temporary refuge, love and care for one (or more) of our cats, please contact us here and one of our team will be back in touch with you.
- Donate to support a cat in need. Your donations are vital and make a huge difference to our cats. By setting up a small monthly donation you will help us to save more cats lives. Donations can be made via PayPal by clicking this link here.
- Adopt a cat. We have many cats and kittens who are looking for their forever homes. Our Adoption page is regularly updated and has details of how to get in touch if you would like to apply. Please see our Adoption page here.
A reminder of how your support changes lives...
Carlos, Frankie and Storm - the 'Scrapyard' kittens
These gorgeous kittens were rescued with their mum from a scrapyard in the summer. After such a horrific start in life they are now living their best lives! Carlos and Frankie were adopted together whilst Storm was adopted along with Luna, another kitten in foster with us. It doesn’t bear thinking about what could have happened to them that day if they hadn’t been heard crying in the footwell of the car. |
Annie
This pretty girl is Annie who sadly lost her kittens and was brought in to CCR after she was spayed. She was very frightened and not very well at all. Her foster mum spent weeks sitting with her or lying under the bed with her whilst she slowly gained her trust and Annie became a friendly, purry cat. She was adopted by a lovely family with a cat called El. Annie and El soon became inseparable |
Bobby
Rescued from a hoarder’s house Bobby is a very special cat. He’s gentle, kind and very welcoming of other cats. Bobby is a great example of why you should consider adopting an older cat. He was 8 years old when adopted a few years ago and has proved to be a very affectionate and loyal companion. Despite spending the first two weeks in hiding, he grew into a confident and happy boy who loves life and now gets to enjoy his days carefree and snoozing in the sun. |
